My First NYC Show - N.Hoolywood

8:52 PM

The very first New York MEN'S Fashion Week just wrapped up and what a week it's been.

As an intern at Black Frame {an international consulting and image management hub for creative innovators} I was lucky enough to be privy to the showing of Daisuke Obana's men's collection for N.Hoolywood.

Whilst doing my research before attending the show, I learned that this season was inspired by typography and calligraphy. These complex patterns were combined with relaxed, loose-fitting pieces that conveyed an attitude of complete composure and simplicity.

Fun fact: All of the models were street-casted, the majority of which with no previous modeling experience to speak of. From the professionalism and overall appealing facial structure of the group, this fact was not easily detected.

Facilitating with the creation of the seating chart, directing guests to their proper sections, mingling with various fashion editors and filling a front row seat were all part of my duties as diligent, hard-working intern.

Enjoy this video of the finale, taken by yours truly.

Until next time,
